Ph.D. Research Assistantship in Integrated Coastal Sciences
Dr. Linda D’Anna and Dr. Eric Wade are recruiting a Ph.D. in Integrated Coastal Sciences to study the social dimensions of marine energy as part of a new Department of Energy project. The project aims to use a place-based framework to advance understanding of social acceptance and engagement around introducing marine energy technology. The focus on marine and hydrokinetic energy includes energy harnessed from the movement of waves, tidal currents, and ocean currents. The project will work in three states across the East Coast of the United States. The student is expected to start in Fall 2025.
